I have seen a few file management apps on apps store and was wondering if this might work ......

install "files" "memorystick" or "mobilefinder" etc.
transfer apps like cylia or installer 4 onto the ipod touch g2

from there could you install the app?

seems like it might work but prob not but I thought I would ask and see if anyone would know Im quite new to this Ipod stuff

if anyone has any thoughts or whatever please let me know

You can do it if you are jailbroken. Just upload the .deb file and in terminal type

dpkg -i /directory where you put in plus name of file for example...

    dpkg -i /private/var/root/sbsettingsxxx.deb

why are they a fail? because they protect users from viruses, and they have to make money too... unless you have your own app store, shut up
