    After viewing these two threads:

    I still have the question:

I know the writing limit of the flash memory would not be a problem on ipod nano( since there's no miscellaneous applications, 100,000 of the writing access is enough for only copying and removing of the music and videos ), but would it be a topic on ipod touch since we're not sure about the safari, temporary files, even visited links, emails, etc.

BTW what is the size of the RAM in the ipod touch? is it big enough to hold a running OSX and its required free space? Does the ipod touch load the whole OS image into RAM then run it without accessing the flash memory like the embedded system, OR just run everything directly from the flash memory like a PC?

    Thank you.
