Would 2.x.x Apps Work on 3.0?

    Would 2.x.x Apps like Mafia Live!, etc, Work on 3.0?

    The only two applications I use (Real Soccer 2009 and Twittefon) both work, but I've heard some don't.
    It won't be like 1.x -> 2.x though, since they aren't changing basically everything (from the frameworks to the actual target architecture).

    I'm pretty sure most do. If youre worried, just do 3.0

    Yes, Apple said so last Tuesday. Developers are supposed to test their apps to fix any bugs caused by 3.0, thus, developers have 3.0 BETA.

    I think many application will not work.

    That's why Apple's handing out the SDK to developers. So they have enough time to develop for the new OS, and it works on it without crashing or some other reason. Same reason for releasing the beta.

    All my apps (over 100) work fine, iMob has some bugs tho.

    Most of the apps I use work fine, myspace and facebook work perfect
    I dont think there will be many problems with apps, this was handed out to developers so they can make apps with the new features

    Yes, there were countless threads on this topic, there are no major changes to the system base.

    i have over 50 apps synced, and all of them do work.

    i dont seem to have problems with iMob.
