So ive asked this question a few times within some threads but i think it deserves its own.
So my ipod was replaced and was valid for the free app pack and i got it. if i downgraded and hacked but then upgraded again would i still get the apps for free? It would help me out a bunch.

If you've already received your upgrade, via paying for the pack or getting the free deal, I don't see why you would loose privileges to owning and using it as many times as you want. But I really don't know other than that. I'm probably never updating.

The file that enables the apps on your Touch is stored on your HD. (~/Library/iTunes/Mobile Applications/iPod touch App Pack 4A93.ipa). As long as that file is there, you will be able to install the apps on your 1.1.3+ iPod as many times as you want. I would back the file up, just in case.
