iOS 3.1 worried about my battery

    Hey guys i have an itouch 3g and i used blackrain to jailbreak it.but the only thing it is tetheread so i need to keep it on all the time..so i end up putting it on the charge every day..

    is there a new way to jailbreak it yet?lol 3.12

    and will this affect the life of the battery?

    No, you're going to be stuck being tethered for at least until the next os comes out.
    As far as the life of the battery, it should not have any affect on it. Lithium batteries actually stay in the best shape if they are not discharged all the way.
    On the other hand, your battery status indicator may become less reliable because it needs a complete discharge from time to time to calibrate it.
    Just run it completely dead every once in a while and you'll be fine

    you know, you can put it to sleep. you don't have to Power Off every time...

    yea, and th screen turns off. its like turning off the monitor your computer or putting it in stand by

    I turn my iPod off every several weeks when it begans lagging massively...
