    The steps i took...

1.) Make sure you are on the home screen on ipod. (Not at the slide to unlock)

    2.) connect to itunes.

3.). Press both sleep and home buttons... KEEP HOLDING THEM BOTH UNTIL iPod turns off and dissapears from itunes.

4.) Release the sleep button, but KEEP HOLDING THE HOME BUTTON...

5.) It will take approx. 30 seconds and then the iPod will re-appear in itunes... The second it does, LET GO OF THE HOME BUTTON.

6.) The iPod screen will still be blank at this point. Then Click, Shift+Restore and choose 1.1.1 ipsw

    That worked for me.

FYI, I did this three times in a row, and it worked perfectly.

three times? Ive been doing it since like 11pm (its now 2am) trying to get jailbreak 1.1.2 again. Few more times and i guess i'll just stick with 1.1.1 *sigh*

FYI... If you're using iTunes 7.6 you won't be able to go to 1.1.2, 7.6 breaks oktoprep.

That's easy... A Mod (or one of their friends) didn't create the thread. So it won't be stickied.. 'nuff said.

I'm gonna go JB to 1.1.2 for the fourth time.....

I'll let ya know how it turns out.

EDIT: Went from 1.1.2 to 1.1.3. Then, Used the above method. Dropped down to 1.1.1, JB it, ran OKTOPREP, UPDATED to 1.1.2, ran JB. DONE. So for the fourth time it's worked

FYI, Make sure you are UPDATING and NOT Restoring.. Update to 1.1.3, Restore to 1.1.1, UPDATE to 1.1.2.

COme on mods - do the right thing and Sticky this thread. Its been confirmed by mulitple members, although I havent tried it because I am just not interested in 1.1.3 when I have most of the functionality on my JB 1.1.2 :D
