    Hey Guys,

hope you can help me. I got a little problem. I use MS Vista on my PC. The only option to communicate from PC to my IPod Touch 1g is via iTunes. But i wish to transfer files like the iPod would be a simple external drive. For example to swap PDF´s. Is there any way to open my iPod in any kind of file explorer? Some Trick or any program?
Would be great if you could help me.

You can SSh into your ipod if your ipod is jailbroken. One easy way to use your ipod as a external drives is using an App called Air sharing. it is only on wifi, though. It can read a lot of files.

If you have a jailbroken device, install openSSH and winscp and search the forums on how to use winscp or search youtube.

You don't need to jailbreak for this. Just download Discover on the app store.
