Ok I had Recently posted a guide that is now outdated, so i am posting one that works...

Ok you will need to know how to use WinSCP so if you don't go here: http://www.ifans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9978

First, SSH into your ipod and navigate over to /var/root and make a new folder called

    Media

Exactly like that, now run these commands in a terminal

    Code:
    cp -R /private/var/root/Media /private/var/mobile/
    Code:
    rm -r /private/var/root/Media
    Code:
    ln -s /private/var/mobile/Media /private/var/root/Media
    Code:
    cp -R /private/var/root/Library /private/var/mobile/
    Code:
    rm -r /private/var/root/Library
    Code:
    ln -s /private/var/mobile/Library /private/var/root/Library
If you are getting errors like can't over write, then look at all the folders in /private/var/mobile/Media and /private/var/mobile/Library and make new folders in /var/root/Media and /var/root/Library like your making a replica, just the folders, not the files, then try the code again

    Example:

    /private/var/mobile/Media:
    TTR
    Itunes

Now just make those exact folders in Media, but not the files

/var/root/Media should now just have the folders:
    TTR
    Itunes

    But no files in them

Now For Everytime I Say "Set The Permissions To 0777" That is for WinSCP, if you are using CuteFTP pro, then set the permissions to 777 insted

Now while in SSH navagate over to /private/var/mobile/Media and you will see the folder called TTR

Set the permission on that to 0777

Now go into the TTR folder and you will see 2 folders and 1 file,Music, Taps, and prefs.plist, again change the permissions to 0777 on both folders and the file

Now Navigate over to /Applications and look for TTR.app

Set the Permissions on that to 0777

Now go into to TTR.app and you will see alot of files

Set the permissions for each one EXCEPT the file TTR, Leave that at 0755

    Everything else is 0777

Now Reboot and it should work

the reason it did that is because when you make the symlinks between /private/var/mobile/Media and Library with /var/root/Media and Library, it has to reset...Sorry its the only fix though
