Working on a new pokemon game! - Read for more info

Ok first beta is up!

You will need to install iShare from the installer if you havent already.

Log on to iShare with these details:
Username: pkmnrevo
Password: mudkip

Make sure you do not capitalize the username.
Once you log in, click Download > Download from my account.
Download the ROM file to var/root/library/media/ROMs/GBA

Once it is done downloading, you can play!
To keep your save file so you can use it on later versions, make a 'snapshot' save file and load that on a newer version of the game.

This version of the game will go up to a bit past the 1st gym

1. Fire Red, it works fastest on the emulator.

2. MUDKIPS IF YOU CAN (you may be able to change the sprite of some pokemon), pikachu, one of the originals maybe.

3. evee, charmander, phanpy, marill, abra and all evolved forms.

4. encounter in the wild: the normal ones, maybe throw in a starter but have a low chance of seeing it.

5.look of the game: have fastfood places that only sell the drinks and stuff and put them in the middle of nowhere. Have a town called "The Ghetto" and if there is a montain call it "Mount Mee" . Have "Bad Route Road" and "not a route, route" and "route of eternal suffering and doom".

6. I wouldn't change many attacks, maybe a few items, like health items. make them food names ex: "baconator" "5$ coffee" "crappy potion" "red bull" ect. Change the images of them too if you can. Make the special items have funny names too. like in the begining of Fire Red you have to give Prof. Oak a "package". when you give it to hime he says it is a pokeball, but you should make it say like "dirty magazine", "Viagra", or "CP" or some other funny crap like that. Replace pokedex with an Ipod Touch.

7. You should change the items in the shop according to what city you are in. like in the ghetto sell some power upps, except give them durg names liek x-Speed to crack, ect.

8. Title: Somethig to do with the ipod maybe? iPokemans? Mudkips Water Ranger Adventure, So i heard you liek mudkips? IDK really,

Other thoughts: I have heard you can change sprites of pokemon, so you could really out any pokemon you want in the game (mudkips *breaths deeply*).

I <3 Legendary Dogs from Gold. If you could choose one of those for the starting pokemon that would be cool.

Remember I want to make this a serious game.
I want to have normal starters, not legendaries.
And like I said, I don't want to make it so you can catch a rare pokemon right after you start the game.

Oh :[..Ok then um what about the starting pokemon from gold.

1. What game should I hack?
A. Emerald
B. Fire Red

2. What should the starters be?
(I'm guessing you're going to make new ones, like they did for other hacked versions...if not go with the the pokemon in the (pokemon))
Fire Pokemon - Lion, ground/fire type. (Cynaquill)
Water Pokemon - Penguin pokemon, like the one from pokemon pearl! (Mudkip)
Grass Pokemon - A baboon pokemon, a fighting/grass type. (Bulbasaur)

3. What should the rival's pokemon be?
Opposite that you chose, like any other pokemon game.

4. What should be some pokemon you encounter in the wild?
(Tell me where you would like to see which pokemon)

5. What should I change about the look of the game?
(The towns, routes, ect)
More challenging mazes, requireing you to think a little bit. Aswell with hidden items.

6. Should I rename items or modify attacks? If so, what should I do?
Be creative, and make them fun so when my pokemon is learning a new attack im pumped about it, not something like 'foresight' that I wouldn't even use.

7. Should I change what you can buy at shops?
The shops are good the way they are in my opinion.

8. What should the game be called?
Pokemon Orange? ahah think of colours they haven't acctually used.

9. Anything else you want in this game?
The ability to catch every pokemon in the game is a good one. Since you cannot trade pokemon using the iPoT. Once catching them all, you get a nice surprise...a super badass pokemon?

I'd really like to help you with other such suggestions, I play pokemon ALOT onm my iPoT, and since I have no skills to make a game myself, helping you make one is the next best thing. Keep me posted!

i would also like is if when you have a pokemon and it evolves it evolves itno a totaly new pokemon
an option to turn on anf off wild pokemon, so like if you are trying to get somewhere you can just turn it off and not have to fight all the them, but when you want to catch pokemon turn it on
better attacks not like like growl which does absolutly nothing
i would like when you start the game you get 1 master ball
more shiney pokemon
stronger pokemon in the wild
something other then i bike maybe a skateboard or motorcycle

I think you should make it like Emerald, with the same pokemon, etc. but, make it so that you can get all the pokemon on one game, not like other games where you have to have both versions to be able to obtain the pokemon. Also, make it hackable. I like the idea of turning off wild pokemon.
