Working Market on the ipod touch 1g with ifroyo-0.1.2

    No one here has no idea how badly i want android for my device :( and worst of all my freaking MB model 2G is basically broken so im going to have to wait even longer for a bootrom exploit even if i get a new 2G :( Damn life is a whore

    i dont have working wifi, could this be a kernel problem, what kernel are you using? (i'm using the kernel from djmitza's froyo beta package)

    can you upload all the required motified files, because It didnt work for me. Android wont even load up anymore. help

    i found that it works if you only copy the app folder, and dont overwrite anything

    its a bit laggy though
    EDIT: although there is no use for market right now since sd emulation doesnt work yet...

    EDIT2: i'm using the 0.6 kernel right now, so maybe that's why its laggy. will try the 0.5 kernel

    i sticked to the tutorial copied them nicely however when its booting it just keeps looping at a certain part idk what it says exactly but it has zephyr2 at the end and keeps doing bin001 to bin...and counting there's no kernel panic any1 knows?thanks in advance

    have you put all the firmware files in /private/var/firmware (on your ipod)?

    Oh yea the reason why you can't upload the modified system.img is because people will b*tch about the gapps being distributed.

    make sure your using alex's latest kernel v0.6 is a beta kernel he is testing right now trying to get the accelerometer working but I would stick with v0.5. you can find the link to download over on the idroid project website

    you can make the userdata.img bigger the same way you make the system.img bigger. userdata is where all the downloads get saved, iirc.
