Above is firmware 1.1.3 with the very known old dock. How? I've created a background image including the reflection effect and uploaded to my iPod. The downside is that if you move the dock icons, well, the background won't be updated to reflect the new arrangement

I know this is not a true solution, is just a workaround, but I've been using for two days now and I am very happy with it. I've attached the image, instructions on how to install along with its Photoshop source (PSD) so you can easily edit the reflections for your particular dock arrangement.

Yea, won't the reflection stay the same if you have other icons besides the standard ones in the dock?

you misunderstood, he created a dock BG image not a background image itself that worked

It's a cool workaround until an actual fix comes along.

But I don't mind the new dock. To me it actually looks more professional. :O
