    I bricked my ipod yehh everything was going fine when I was restoring untill half way it said it was done and was going to reboot but its not rebooting. I've held everything for like a min and nothing just a black screen

    Nvm Mac could not read dfu so don't be afraid to stry this

    How can I restore when it won't even turn on or do anything its like a full brick

    Ouch...

    No warranty either I'm assuming since they can detect the jailbreak. You might as well take it to the Apple store, they can't check for firmware contents there. All they do is check to see if it has a current and look for dents on the back.

    Oh man, that sucks. Although, thanks to this post, I'm not even going to attempt it. It's not worth a $400 mistake, even though I could take it back to bestbuy.
