    me fail bad ): haha

i gave a CD of windows xp performance edition for my friend to install on bootcamp, he did it and something went wrong i guess, i think i know what it was, but i wont tell him that ;D haha jp, so he brings his macbook (aluminum uni-body) in today and it turns on, no apple screen just goes white then black and says
    PHP:
    Disk Error
    press any key to reboot
so i hit some keys and nothing happens, force reboot and try again, still nothing, so i do a PVRAM and NVRAM reset by holding the combination of keys
that seemed to do it, and it booted up to the desktop finally

the mouse and keyboard had no responce, tried turning off the computer plugging in a USB mouse and USB keyboard (both apple; we were in accounting so we took them off the macs) then turned on the computer, and it didn't work

    Hi
had the same problem with the disk getting stuck. i put a piece of thick paper (Greeting Card) into the cd drive at the top and held down the eject button. the driver will make noises but the cd ejected for me. be careful what paper you use. first off i used some that wasn't thick enough and noticed 'chopped' edges from it. good luck.
