iOS 4.0 Won't let me download * No Internet Connection *

    i have a ipod touch 3G and i want to update to 4.0 but it says i have no internet connection when i doo and it can't connect to the server

    Anyone else having this problem?

    Check your firewall (also Windows Firewall).
    Restart computer.
    Reinstall Itunes.
    Check if u got sauriks server in your host file-->u saved ur shsh?

    tried 2 and 3 and don't work but what does 4 mean?

    i will try 1 when my ipod finishes syncing

    SHSH blobs aren't even needed for upgrades, don't worry about it. Although you should store your 3.1.3 blobs before you upgrade in case you want to downgrade later.

    it still qon't let ,me update. If i take it to another PC ro update will i lose my apps when i bring it back to this computer?

    Plug your iPod into your computer, right click on the iPod in iTunes, and select Backup and Transfer Purchases.
