wont connect

    im trying to connect to my ipod with cyberduck and i put everything in the ip and the user: root and pass: alpine but it says "connection refused" anyone know why?

    Are you sure that you're trying to connect through SSH?

    Four questions:

    1. What firmware are you running?
    2. When you applied the Touchfree jailbreak (assuming that is what you used) did you remember to check the "Install SSH" box?
    3. If SSH is installed, did you install OpenSSH as well?
    4. Is SSH switched off (through iSwitcher or other such program)?

    "connection refused" but no time-out, so I'd first check if the IP address is correct and if you're on the same subnet. You can see the IP address of your iPod in the Settings, Wi-Fi, by blicking the little blue arrow besides your active connection.
