Found this on local website. Should i get it? is there anything bad able this macbook? are the RAM upgradable? How many ram slots r there? Any major difference than the new macbook (Spec wise)? THANKS!!

    $600 Used

I've bought a new Mac so this one is for sale. Perfect condition, performs the same as when it was first purchased. The keyboard and palm rest are currently being replaced at the Apple store so it looks new. Price includes a snazzy black "Incase" brand carrying case, all original boxes, manuals, and discs, an Apple Remote, the latest OS X, and a legal copy of Microsoft Office. The specs for this mac are as follows:

    Processor: 1.83 Intel Core Duo
    LCD Screen Size: 13.3 inches
Hard Drive: 60 GB (easily upgraded for about $50)
    Memory: 1 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
Operating System: OS X 10.5.5 (Leopard)
Optical Drive: Combo Drive (DVD Player/CD burner)

This has served me well for 2 years and has produced a Master's thesis as well as countless statistics and journal articles. It will give you years of faithful and problem-free service.

I'm so confident that you'll love this Mac that I'll give you a 14-day money-back guarantee. If you decide the computer was not worth the price you paid, you can return it to me for a refund, so long as the computer is in the same physical condition as it was when I sold it to you (i.e., you haven't damaged it in any way).

thanks for the suggestions guys! tyty!

-wondering how many RAM slots the macbook has, does it use norrmal laptop rams? or have to be mac ones?

-also is the HDD 2.5 inch ones?

    - I notice this one is 1.83 Intel Core Duo but the newer macbooks are like 2.XX blablaa, is there a huge difference?

Good deal, but make sure you upgrade HD to at least 200GB and at least 2GB RAM.
