Wondering about the ipod touch screen and touch screen 2g

    I droped my ipod touch while i was running and theres a crack under the screen the "glass" part is un touched but i guess the touch sensors are broken is there anyway to fix that? what would i be looking for?

    How is the title relevant? And you should search before posting, because there are many posts like this. But as others have said, the warranty doesn't cover accidental damage.

    Well im sorry for not searching for the post.. but i already know its not covered by warranty, but i was just wondering what is broken..its the digitizer right? cause i was thinking of REPLACING it my self not asking apple lol..

    WOW how come there cheap? and so what is the touch part of the ipod touch screen? is it called the digitizer?

    do you know where you can get the plastic assembly that holds the digitizer??
