So will i be able to use it? Do 2nd gens have bluetooth? What will i need to get the ipod working with bluetooth? I have read about discover so assume i can use this to transfer apps to the bluetooth. Not so bothered about music atm, i only need to be able to transfer apps til i can get a cable. Also what cable do i need exactly? I have been told firewire or usb. I'm using windows.

    Thanks!

Just get a standard 30-pin ipod cable.

Any iPod USB cable will work. They sell pretty cheap ones at Target, even some gas stations and grocery stores. But Firewire will not work. Apple discontinued the firewire pins in iPods/iPhones last year. And you cannot sync over bluetooth, so I would go out and buy one of those cables.

It's ok it was a miscommunication; i didn't know the charger was the adapter, it thought i was a seperate main cable for some reason.

Hopefully it not having a cable means it's a knockoff. NEVER trust ebay. I've learned.
