don't use WinSCP. you can "SSH" using your USB cord.

hi all, i'm new to the forum and i am learning how to search, and post question here. I don't mean to hijack this thread but i just received an ipod touch and was told that i can get wifi off my imac without a router. Is this in fact true? If true, how do i do this?

I'll get better at where to post questions in the future.

    Thanks for your help.

    i'll get a router then.

On the imac it almost looks like it is possible to do this. I've clicked on the wifi signal strength icon, upper right corner of the screen on the imac and if kinda walks you thru the setup process but i got lost with the process.

I'll talk with the mac store and get one. Thanks for your reply.
