Im running Linux Ubuntu 7.10, so to SSH my ipod I simply use the terminal ssh command. I was wondering if anyone knew how I could restart my iPod via SSH or anything similar to that, such as displaying messages or opening applications.
    Thanks,
    Jordan

To restart it, SSH onto it and use the command reboot.

To launch an application, give the directory then put the name of the app. (i.e. /Applications/Installer.app/Installer)

In addition to Danls92's post, if you prefer to cd and ls a lot and find yourself in the applications directory, such as /Applications/Installer.app you can run Installer by typing
    Code:
    ./Installer
