Would it be possible to create an application that was able to monitor little home wireless security cams? alot of them run on 2.4 ghz frequency which is the same frequency as wifi such as 802.11g. So im just thinking it might be possible to tap into those cameras to monitor your home cameras when in range. I searched and didnt find anything like this so if somebody thinks they could make this i think it would be a pretty cool program. any ideas or glaring flaws?

There is a Webapp that actually does this, saw it on one of the Apple news sites about a week ago.

If its a webapp, its not possible for it to do this. It probably just recieves webcam footage over the net.

yeah if you hook up your cameras to your computer then you can use orblive to monitor them from anywhere- scared the crap out of my dad, had him go into my room when I was somewhere else, and told him what shirt he was wearing.

it works pretty well, mine has about 3 second gap between the real life actions and when I see them on my ipod. awesome
