my two cents: why is winterboard white? it hurts my eyes notes needs lines and the rip needs less drop shadow, same with the calendar rip. maybe some texture on the top binding too... mail envelope is huge and the inner shadow looks weird. the white dots look uneven on the watch, and the three blocks of color kinda do too. the gloss on the icons is kinda ruining the theme for me, i think it needs some blending options or to just be turned down a bit. it looks like theres still random pixels or something on the corners of the icons.
it hasnt changed much still looks relativly bad but i wanted to show all of my icons sorry Baggy spandex i forgot to change the notes and gloss. I would also like to say ive been finding it really hard to make icons too, i need help for ideas
app store- circle is choppy and should be solid, glyph is too small, off center, and the inner shadow si slightly too strong ipod - would be better with just the ipod in the center imo notes - could use some lines or a pen or text or something on the page calendar - the red is too bright, should be darker & more depthy (like the inner white part is) calculator - glyphs look off center, inner white cross is odd sms - eh, the layer style lacks pizazz calculator 2 - just looks pretty amateurish, idk. screen should be 3px or so taller, so it's centered winterboard - paint is flat, rectangle is off center credit card - looks fine.. numbers are all choppy clock - the white dots around it are odd ipod - clickwheel is too big, screen looks faded settings? - metal doesn't rip like that, should just be a smoorth bend, a la page curl contacts - font is too thin, @ should be tan or something base in general - corners are very choppy, gloss just fades what's behind it (try overlay+color dodge), inner stroke? on the top is too strong or big edit: and if i didn't mention and icon it's cos i think it's pretty decent
uh, safari and mail are pretty decent (albeit ordinary) and phone is nice minus the base issues i think gloss in general ruins themes most of the time, unless it's done very subtly and entirely on overlay/color dodge
