Does Vwallpaper and Winterboard drain the battery when they are not in use? For example, if the iPod is in sleep mode or even when running an app, does Vwallpaper still drain the battery more than normal? Or does it only drain the battery more when on the actual springboard itself?

The videowallpaper & Springboard shouldn't drain the battery when you're in sleep mode. The vWallpaper is a horrible drain however, and it really leeches the battery. Winterboard doen't as much, as far as i know... But the answer is they shouldn't...

Thanks for responding. Vwallpaper is turning out to be a huge battery drain when on the springboard.

This question might sound very stupid, but when running apps, does Vwallpaper continue to leech battery life?

yes it would because if you notice that when you play music or video the wallpaper stops moving and requires a respring which means if your running apps its still running in the background if when you return to your springboard its still moving
