Theming "slide to unlock" Lightup Color!

    *For Intermediate users*

Fore the sake of symplicity we will call this theme "Slider". The color that lights up the slider text is just a scrolling PNG file.

    1. Create your theme folder

    Slider.theme

    2. Create the "Bundles" folder.

    Slider.theme/Bundles

    3. Create the TelephonyUI folder

    Slider.theme/Bundles/com.apple.TelephonyUI

    4. Create your PNG file, OR get one from this thread by rayden.

    5. Name the PNG bottombarlocktextmask

    6. Put the PNG in the TelephonyUI folder

    Slider.theme/Bundles/com.apple.TelephonyUI/bottombarlocktextmask.png

    7. SSH your theme to the themes folder

    /private/var/stash/themes/Slider.theme/Bundles/com.apple.TelephonyUI/bottombarlocktextmask.png

    8. Open Winterboard and apply your theme.

    9. Respring

    10. Enjoy!

go to /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/English.lproj open springboard.strings search for slide to unlock there delete " Slide to Unlock" replace it with " Your Text" replace the original springboard.srtings

It's a really basic .plist edit... and you can change the text for almost everything (low battery, shutdown, slide to unlock etc.
