Hi, I just jailbroke my ipod touch 2G today and installed picnic theme for winterboard. This evening, actually just a couple hours ago, I suddenly noticed some text on the lock screen that wasn't there before.

I tweeted this out, and one of my followers responded that he had a theme install some applications on his iphone without him knowing.

I just think isn't this a security risk? people could install keyloggers like such and know the passwords we type on ipod touch/iphone.

no? am I just being paranoid? anyone else had a similar experience? n

theme makers could start deploying ads like tis. I don't like the thought of that happening.

You're a paranoid. It has nothing to do with the Picnic theme. It's the Server lock example theme, that is installed automatically with winterboard. Turn it off, or delete it from the themes folder if you want.
