    It's tethered.
Once you get that little iTunes screen, disconnect your iPod and shut it off.
Next re plug it in and close iTunes when it pops up. (Press cancel on the restore).
    Now - Re run Blackra1n.
Your iPod will boot up fine.

The iPod Touch 3G model jailbreaks are tethered. Meaning everytime you turn it off or reboot or your iPod dies, you will need to plug the iPod into your computer, run blackra1n and 'make it ra1n' again to turn it back on. But you won't lose any data so don't worry.

you need to run Blackra1n again. Its tethered, so you have to run Blackra1n every time you turn the iPod off.
