I just want to ask how are you supposed to install winterboard on a tethered jailbreak if winterboard asks you to reboot your device?

    Thanks!

    It's caused me problems too. I'm on a 64-3.

Same issue after install, I wasted time by trying it TWICE! Kills everything by forcing a reboot.

Can anyone recommend another good theme app?

When it asks you to reboot, reboot.
Then just run Blackra1n and all should be good.

O.K... I'm bad. Figured it out on my 3rd try :O

When it prompts to 'Reboot' just hit the home key and all is good. But no matter what, if you hit 'Reboot' your forced to do a full restore and start all over...

Eh, that didn't happen to me. I just rebooted it by making it ra1n. Though, I'm on an 8gb 3rd gen

No, you're not forced to do a full restore, you just plug your ipod in, iTunes will say to restore, but don't. Run blackra1n and "make it ra1n" to turn it on.
