winterboard not showing

    so i bought a ipod touch of my buddy and i wanted to change the theme but it wont everytime i go into general then wallpaper i choose it and it doesnt change .so i looked to see if he had winterboard didnt see it so i went into cydia found it it said it was already installed......?so i reinstalled it and its not showing up after anybody know y?

    Check to see if WinterBoard Settings is also installed. Also make sure he hasn't hidden the icon.

    im sorry but this is my first ipod touch how do i see if he has hidden the icon and check if winterboard setting are installed

    Check the installed packages in Cydia, the same thing you did for WinterBoard to see if WinterBoard Settings is installed.

    To see if it's hidden, use Poof or SBSettings.

    k ive gone into cydia and check and it says its installed its just not showing up and this poof is this a thing i have to download from cydia?

    also is there any other app i have to have installed before i get winterboard?

    ^ Yes, you would get it off cydia. May I suggest that you install sbsettings? Apart from being able to hide/unhide icons, you'd be able to do a lot of cool stuff with it.

    but i never had poof or sbsetting so shouldnt it not be hidden cause it says its installed but i cant find it

    That is indeed strange. Go to Settings -> General -> Restrictions-> Enable. Respring. Go to Settings -> General -> Restrictions -> Disable. Respring. Just see if that works.

    Why don't you try Poof/Sbsettings as well?

    i got poof first and it installed and showed up but when i touch the app it opened then like 10 sec later just went to the the menu and sbsetting when i tried that it didnt show up either but ill try what u said to go to setting etc now
