It appears as if Winterboard video wallpapers run in the background while you have them set. I can lock the screen and return to see the video has progressed a bit. vWallpaper does not seem to have this issue since the video restarts every time I unlock my device or go to the home screen.

Is the fact that the video is running in the background on Winterboard a big issue for battery life? I like my custom video background and don't want to get rid of it, so I was hoping someone out there had an experience with both vWallpaper and using Winterboard for video backgrounds to let me know which one is better for my battery life. Thanks for any help, guys.

Yes, video wallpaper in the background will greatly affect battery life.

the Saurik theme is just an html wallpaper that changes between two pictures. It's not a video but it might possibly affect battery life a little bit.

Yup. Go into the the Saurik theme folder (use iFile or SSH) and explorer. It is pretty self-explanatory.

Yeah just put your own images in the /Library/Themes/Saurik.theme/Private folder.

Use any computer-based filesystem browser. iFunBox is a great one for both windows and mac, iPhone folders lets you open it with windows explorer like a hard drive, and iPhonebrowser and iPhone Explorer are goo filesystem browser programs on windows to use.

It won't reduce your battery life that MUCH. Except when you stay too long at the main menu or keep staring at it.
