Hey guys. Looking through the threads I've seen conflicting statements on this so maybe you guys can help me out. I've been experiencing the common battery drain problems after several restores of iOS4, and I was wondering if Winterbord could possibly make a substantial contribution to the battery loss. The theme I'm running now (if you can even call it that) is simply a lockscreen and wallpaper image, with no other added modifications. Would Winterboard be causing this, or is it more than likely the persistent wifi?

It could really be anything. I also have Winterboard and I have a full theme and it does not drain my battery any faster if it was on or off. So I don't think it is Winterboad. Hope this helps.

How old is your device, if its any older device the battery might have start dying meaning it doesn't hold its charge as long, my friends ipod touch 2g nonMC had that issues and he aint even jailbroken, he sent it to Apple and they claimed it was the battery so they replaced the battery and that fixed the issue for him

I got mine in August of last year so it is probably getting to be about the time when the battery is going to start loosing some of it's charge. That's pretty cool though. Did they replace it for free or did it cost him?
