I am not able to connect to my iPod using WinSCP so I downloaded 2 manual file browsers and both of them can only acces /root/var/ or something like that. Can you help me connect with WinSCP again?
I know that my description of the problem is a little vague but please ask and I will tell you want you want to know in order to help me.

Have you used winscp before? Are you sure you have the right ip for the ipod?

if you have recently restored your ipod your ip may have changed, try looking and your ip on your ipod then putting it into winSCP.
    this may work.

Yes, I have used WinSCP before and my ip checks out. But now it's a different problem, "Connection Refused!".

I don't know if this helps but if I use any manuall browse program I can actually access the iPod but only /var/Mobile/media/ and nothing else!?
But if I use File browser or Mobile finder in my iPod I can get to every single folder.

Yeah, thanks. It did help. What I did in order for it to work was just to set the time for WinSCP to "find the iPod" from 15sec to 45sec. After that it works fine, I can access all the folders.
