    2 things

    1) Is openssh installed on your iPhone
    2) Is the i.p address that winscp trying to connect to the same as the i.p address of your iPhone

when you turn on wi-fi + ssh on your ipod via sbsettings, IMMEDIATELY winscp in.

It works at the same time for me, but not any other time.

advice. Get iFunbox. then you don't even need an internet connection.

this is how i do it too. Actually I have wifi off and ssh turned on and WinSCP ready to login. then i hit login and immediately turn on wifi and it almost always connects right away.

When you upgraded to iTunes 8.2 it left the iTunes 8 dll you need 8.2 dll so I've been told but give up man I did I went to ifunbox and it kicks ass I've only got it USB. But it's better to use no hassle no user and passwords etc just plug in and run the exe. It's free to dl too.
