I'm letting my girlfriend borrow my ipod touch while she goes out of town on a school trip, so I was wondering if I can still put stuff on there like TTR songs through winscp while the ipod is online. Thanks in advance for answering.

Yes you can but the ipod touch will have to be connected to wifi and you will need the IP of that particular wifi connection

um, no. Ive tried connecting to my ipod using winscp and other ftp programs, while the pc and ipod were on different networks and had no luck. It would not let me connect.

you only could if you were on the same network - this is because the ipod doesnt have a static ip address, which is necessary for connecting over other networks.
