Was there ever a post on why the guy that worked on WinPwn stopped.

Also what is the Dev-Teams stance on making their own version of a windows Pawnage tool. What would it take to do and how hard would it be to port over so windows users can go about making full custome firmwares.

Cmw basically stopped development on WinPwn.
Poorlad has been working with the dev team to build the Windows version of QuickPwn.
Jailbird with probably be the only WinPwn or Pwnagetool for Windows, for the next little while, look for it when its release sometime next month if they stay on schedule.

Well, WinPwn was possible so i dont see how the devteam can't make a similar tool

Its not what i would call an easy process. The OSX and Windows architecture is totaly different and it is like making two different programs for them. I would just hope someone with the know how to do so was working with the dev team. Ive missed the ability to do a comprehensive firmware build of my own.

The iPhone-Dev team is working on a "lightweight" "simple converter" for a Windows PwnageTool alternative.

I was talking along the lines of preserving the baseband. Making it safe from the updated basebands.
