winpwn problem

    I've tried pwning with the stickied winpwn method about 10 times now and cant get it to work I click the ipwner button but when it says to connect the ipod and put it into recovery mode..... it doesn't do anything


    Please help

    Have you restored to a clean 1.1.4, connected the device by cable and then closed iTunes before runni g winpwn?

    nope same deal it says connect your ipod and put it in recovery mode

    I do that and nothing happens

    Have you got the latest version of Winpwn? I used it on my new (2nd user ebay) iPhone 16gb and all I did was DFU to 1.1.4 clean, then with it connected to the computer (but in sleep) closed itunes, ran winpwn and it worked straight off. It did the recovery mode bit itself I didn't have to do it. I used this guide if it helps:-

    when it says that, you should put it manually into recovery. Winpwn doesn't always do it on its own. When you put it into recovery, winpwn will detect it. Search the forums if you don't know how to put your ipod into recovery.

    i did it I just reinstalled winpwn and it worked except now I have a Brick that wont turn on
    Im gonna return it to apple

    Apple will see that there are wrong files on your touch and will not accept it for warranty!

    Try downloading Ziphone and use that to put it into DFU Mode or normal mode? Make sure it has been plugged in for a long time so it is fully charged.
