winpwn custom image wont work

    every time i tried to load my custom image i get the error: Unknown file.
    i need a custom file to load on my ipod can anyone help?

    I have the same problem,
    I spent like an hour making a custom logo.
    (yes correct size, 320X480, and its a PNG)

    but when I go to load it it says somthing like
    "unknown file"
    or somthing.

    I load the 1.1.4 restore.ipsw and then i go to ipsw builder. then i select installer and then i click on {build ipsw} button. and then when its finish i click on { browse ipsw} then i select the one i made and it gives me the error unknown file.

    yup for some reason you cant load custom firmwares back into winpwn well i cant same as you you need to load the original one but if you want to change it just install the custom firmware then use the custom logo option to change it

    so what you are telling me is that the custom firmwares are for itunes and not for winpwn?

    You make them with winpwn and install them with iTunes
