Winpwn 2.0 unknown file.

    I'm on 2.0 jailed and trying to get to 2.0 pwnd, but every time i try to load the iPod1,1_2.0_5A347_Restore.ipsw in winpwn, i get:

    7/27/2008 14:33:19 - Unknown file: C:\Documents and Settings\Collin\Desktop\ipod firmwares\iPod1,1_2.0_5A347_Restore.ipsw

    does anyone know whats up?

    Try a GUI version of xPwn. It has worked better for more people.

    i'm still getting the same thing. Does anyone know how to fix it?

    You have to have firmware 1.1.4 and pwn it to that first before attempting the 2.0 jailbreak using winpwn. it has to be pwned with 1.1.4(you have to have this firmware on desktop as well that means) before being pwned with 2.0

    What? You could go from a fresh 1.1.1 to a pwned 2.0 if you wanted with no extra steps needed...

    I still get the error, and it really sucks. I've tried on 2 computers and I continue to get that same error. I've even tried with the different versions of winpwn.

    I heard that one guy had luck with uninstalling the program and then reinstalling it and restarting, but no such luck for me. Oh well.
