Winpwn 2.0.0.3 RC1 Problem!

    Okay I have a problem with winpwn. I create a custom ipsw with winpwn then pwn my itunes then put my ipod in dfu mode but when i try and restore to the custom ipsw it shows unknown error 6?

    Have you upgrade your iTune to 7.7 ?

    Yea doesn't work - I get the same thing. But when I do get it to work I get an error 13


    I am using latest winpwn and itunes before anyone says anything..

    edit: try http://www.ifans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=82240 seems to work ok, mines still flashing atm
    edit two: nope didnt work either.

    if you get error 6 you are not in DFU mode. it should look like the iPod is off. you are in recovery mode ( itunes = cable sign).

    to get into DFU follw these steps.
    [*]turn on iPod.
    [*]hold home/power buttons for 10 seconds (1 onethousand 2 onethousand ext.)
    [*]let go of power button
    [*]contine to hold the home button untill it's detected in iTunes

    Whats error 13 and 16, after a while I get these when it fails, I've been pwning it by the book with DFU etc..

    k thanks everyone. i will check to see if it works tomorrow. It was just that earlier I posted a topic about DFU mode and someone linked me to a page about restore mode. What a waste of an hour that was.
