Windows xp icon sets

    i am running Windows xp and i am trying to find the icons stored in my computer
    does anyone know where they are at?

    Right click an app.
    Press Properties.
    In one of the tabs at the top there will be a change icon button. I think it's the general tab.
    The path at the top has the icons.

    ok i typed in the path and it says you are attwmpting to open a apllication extension (.dll)
    then it has a open thats say open with
    what should i do

    Windows icons are stored in .DLL files. That's all I know, I never work with windows icons anymore.
