I can plug my iPod into one of my computers and it recognizes it and everything works fine, but if I move it to my other computer, Windows says it doesn't recognize it. What could be the problem?

i really don't know why your other computers won't recognize your ipod...
Did you install itunes for all computers?
Is all your computers usb 2.0 (it might take longer for 1.0).
    Are your usb drivers working?
And you can try other stuff like checking manually manage so that your music/movies/photos won't get deleted from connecting to another computer without those files.
I wish i can help more but the only reason i can think of at this moment is that your computer is old or just messed up
