[Windows] Redsn0w Tutorial [Tethered]

Hey this is my first post guys

I am jailbreaking my rather new iPod 2G, and got everything done. When I am done with 13 it gives me the connect to iTunes image. I know this is obviously a common error but I've searched through the thread and tried everything I saw. I have done this with itunes open and closed, tried unplugging it and restarting itunes, redone step 13, and maybe something else that I am forgetting.

iTunes is telling me that my iPod is in reboot mode (obviously). But I have done the 10 + 25 secs many times and I am getting the white screen at all times when the tutorial says it should be. Any help on getting it out of recovery mode? Thanks!

Thanks for the tutorial. You might consider adding that file to the OP. I can't credit who found it (was not me) because I forgot sorry. I think it was in one of the tutorials mentioned in the compilation of all the tutorials.

welcome to the forum, you can know if the jailbreak has been completed when there is a new icon on your screen called cydia, when you have that one it is
To put games on it i recommend starting cydia, go to manage (down tab) -> sources and then edit (right upper corner) then on the left take add and add next url: cydia.[PIRACY]s.us
it will add a new package source to your ipod touch wich has a mobile patch included, now you should go to sectionslook after the [PIRACY].us tab and download the miPatch Firmware 2.2.1 and there you are, now you can install games from your itunes right onto your touch

I'm sorry but i didn't mention if games/apps are bought or not, that's what you did, you can just install apps and games using itunes... It's what you made of it

Ok, so I read through the first 50 pages but found no answer to my question. It was asked multiple times, but no answer was ever given for it. Please help.

In step 5 in the command prompt I get "error: Could not load ipsw". What do I do?

I think my ipod is bricked...it want even recognize DFU mode...i mean it says usb device not found when it seems to be working

Where can i find the custom restore after xpwn creates it? because i need to do the step where i get the file out of there and rename it.

Is this working with ipod touch 2g?

Hey uhm this is like the 5th time im trying this, and i finally got passes the part that i couldnt for a while and now when i restore my ipod with the custom firmware it says error (6014) or something like that, can anyone please help?
