[Windows] Redsn0w "run rs" Tutorial

    I have never even heard of error 7 (I have heard of error 6, though), so you're on your own.

    Error 7 seems to mean that your IPSW isn't formed correctly.

    i downloaded mirc but i cant figure out where to put irc.osx86.hu and where to put #itouch

    oh, ok. add new then put the first one in the connect and it will ask for a room then type itouch, im in the irc right now.

    Most likely no, considering I'm using the original redsn0w patches, not the redsn0w lite ones.
    I believe the Dev Team's page was edited after I make this guide (it used to say "original redsn0w", where it now says "redsn0w lite").
    I'll update the bundle.

    Edit: First post updated.
    Bundle now includes the redsn0w lite patches, instead of redsn0w tethered.
    I realize that it doesn't say semi-tethered on the Dev Team page, but the Mac guide uses semi-tethered also.
    Also, bzip2 stuff is now included.

    wait is this semi-tethered? so i can boot into normal mode and if i wanna boot into jb mode i just plugin (no dfu or anything) and type "run rs"???

    You could be right... I think part of the problem is that I have been using iRecovery and it only occasionally gives me output form iBoot. And only after I try to fsboot several times, call stop and go and then I have to ctrl-C out and then re-iRecovery-s and try to run pwn, then once I do that I can get output from run rs and/or fsboot.

    It's just screwy.
