Idk if you guys remember the thread about Bochs with lets you run Windows 3.11 and 95 on your iPod, but I was wondering if I could get some help, don't get me wrong, Bochs is great concept, but just so slow it's not sensible, I was wondering if I could make my iPod boot start it into windows instead of booting the standard iPod OS, if I'm correct, this should make it much faster because it doesn't have to run two operating systems, and the one we want (Windows) isn't running as a regular app, any ideas? Also, an ideas about running XP?

Google is completely useless on this subject, if there is an article about this, which I highly doubt it will probably be in the middle of the millions of results.

the thread about that got closed because it was believed to fake. Anything since has been ran on Bochs.

Bochs is an emulator which NEEDS the iPhone OS in order to run.

To boot another OS before the iPhone OS... Well, there isn't any way to add drivers for a "virtual" video card, "virtual" sound card (which would all be supported by the CPU and lag as hell).

Why ? Because Windows isn't open source. Linux, on the other hand, is - but last I've heard no one has been able to code drivers for such things (not even for the display driver ??).
