    Need Help,

Downloaded quickpwn from the posted site, unzipped, followed the instructions as shown. Got no further than 'Uploading Exploit Bootloader'. Held the home button for more than 5 mins, nothing happened. I am running windows-vista, have a iPod Touch 8GB, was not jailbroken, but restored anyway, have selected 'Run as Administrator', have updated to .NET Framework 3.5. I do not know what to do next. Someone please HELP!!!

    Updated Firmware to 2.2_5G77

    1. thanks for this tutorial :)
    2. just for the record: if I update my firmware (which now is on 2.1) does this mean I will lose all my cracked apps? Will I have to go through the setting-permissions-through-WinSCP-sh*t again?

    Thanks :)

I think what that person means is if you update from an already jailbroken firmware and you don't delete anything that you have installed that you will have a memory deficit depending on how much space you had used up before the update. I'm not really sure though but I hope I was able to help.:)

    1. Yes. Click the update button in iTunes and let it update you to Firmware 2.2.
    2. You won't have to because updating to Firmware 2.2 does not remove your media (music, videos, apps, etc). Only your jailbroken applications and mods are lost. And same with jailbreaking Firmware 2.2. All my songs and App Store applications are still here after jailbreaking Firmware 2.2 with QuickPwn.

You can't jailbreak the 2nd-gen ("new") iPod touch yet! :(
