[WINDOWS] Jailbreaking Firmware 2.2 / 2.2.1 with QuickPwn

sorry to ask silly questions, but i've tried many times to JB my device but it keeps on stucking at the stage which states "wait while your ipod is prepared for jailbreaking ... ", while no pregress bar is shown and it pauses forever. am i doing something wrong or should i do anything to get quickpwn work?

i have a gen1 ipod touch and i have already restored to 2.2.1, all settings erased.

Try downloading the new QuickPwn and then jailbreaking it

I jailbreak my ipod, it goes through everything, QuickPwn says it's done and my ipod wont go past the pineapple screen, it just sits there for ages then reboots, any ideas?

the best is redsn0w it works for mac windows and linux which i use

for anyone wanting to jailbreak the 2nd generation, since unfortunatley quickpwn only does 1st gen, i used quick freedom.

Hi Guys i am new to all this i have an ipod itouch 1st generation with firmware 2.2.1 i have downloaded QuickPwn 22.1 for windows xp can someone kindly direct me in what other software i need to jailbreak it.

i did this and tried clicking onto the firmware and it said firmware error string but it worked before, please help
