    Are you using iTunes 7.7?

If not, it'd be easier to use QuickPwn.

I got the same error. I'm using Itunes 8.
    Should I downgrade it?

QuickPwn will be much easier if you're on iTunes 8

    2.0.1 Jailbreak

    FINALLY!!!!!

    Thats worked very well.

I had to download the 2.0.1 firmware and with the new version of QuickPwn the job is done.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT.

I followed all the instructions you posted, got all the way to the part where I have to restore the ipod and itunes gave me some kind of an error message. It said the ipod couldn't be restored (1600). my ipod is running 2.0. Do you have any idea how to fix this.

    Wow.

Jut use QuickPwn. This tutorial does not work with iTunes 8.x, ad QuickPwn will prove much easier.

I couldn't upgrade (1.1.3 JB >> 2.0.1) from the first time ... I got this screen: Connect to iTunes.
Then I restored to 1.1.2 and did the same process again (1.1.2 >> 2.0.1) but that did not work as well.
If I just restore to 2.0.1 (original) and then run quickpwn to 2.1, would it work?
