    Hey Guys,

when i updated to fw 2.0 my iPod first worked great and i was all happy as it is a pretty sweet piece of Software.

Well, a little later i connected my iPod again, and once it got connected - my Windows Crashed and i got a bluescreen. well i thought this might happen sometimes, but whenever i connected it again my pc crashed. same thing happens if the iPod is connected to pc when i turn it on, it won't even get to the Windows Start-Screen.

As i was planning on installing XP Professional again anyways, i did it. After installing iTunes 7.7 the iPod worked well for a couple of hours, but after installing some Apps from the Appstore, it happened again. Bluescreen.
This also happens if i reset my iPod and its back to factory default.

Please help me, as i cant connect my iPod to my PC anymore which kinda sucks....

    thanks alot.

    Phil

Update your motherboard drivers. Especially the USB ones. That's what usually causes it.
Just Google your motherboard makers name and go to their site and download them.

    Good luck!

Probably a conspiracy theory, but it's prolly Windows way of sayin "get zune"

And I had the same problem a couple of times so I did what sparky said and everything has been smooth... So far
