You have to download the latest java, go on google and type in java and install, it should work then, this problem had me stumped, i only today updated to 1.1.2 haha

If your running a 64bit version of windows.

    Just run the jailbreak.jar

the .bat file will not work in 64bit windows

Here is what you do. The windows.bat comes in a zip with a couple different files in it. You need to extract all of the files into a folder on your desktop. THEN run windows.bat

Also, make sure that you end all of the processes that have to do with apple or ipod or itunes.

This is a little old, but I just came acrossed this tonight. I'm JB 1.1.2 and workin' fine for weeks now, so decided to help a friend at work & I got stuck w/ hers at this point.

It's not Java or anything else. It's an Oktoprep fail. I used click-Restore to get to 1.1.1 but also did it AGAIN to get to 1.1.2. (WRONG!!!!!!!)

You need to do click-Update when going from 1.1.1 to 1.1.2!!!! (IMPERATIVE) The notes for the 1.1.2JB file even say so (READ ME). If you don't ONLY use the "update" way, you'll wipe out Oktoprep and clicking on the windows.bat file will result in a quick flash and then zip, zilch, nada.

Hope this helps someone who searches in the future!!!
