Was browsing the web and came upon this:

I am not sure whether it is an emulator, a video or a network type thing (remember crysis on the iPad?). Not sure if it is functional (perhaps with a stylus). But it looks quite cool.

If gen 1 iPad runs windows 95 sluggishly, gen 2 (or will it be 3) will probably run it full speed

I think the slowness is more of an emulator problem. If I recall Windows 95 only needed a 20 MHz processor and like 4-8MB of memory, with like 60MB of hard drive space.

I think the emulator just sucks.

Personal computer with a 386DX or higher processor (486 recommended)

4 megabytes (MB) of memory (8 MB recommended)

Typical hard disk space required to upgrade to Windows 95: 35-40 MB

The actual requirement varies depending on the features you choose to install.

Typical hard disk space required to install Windows 95 on a clean system: 50-55 MB The actual requirement varies depending on the features you choose to install.

One 3.5-inch high-density floppy disk drive

VGA or higher resolution (256-color SVGA recommended)

I'm pretty sure that you don't need the 3.5 inch floppy disk, because that's the install disk.

    It's probably the emulator.

My question would be why is his mouse finger so far from the mouse pointer. And how did he exit the program?

Windows 95 was designed before touchscreen tech was being used in anything, so its not designed to allow the mouse to just appear in another place. it has to travel from one spot on the screen to the next, meaning that wherever your finger is, your swipes can only tell it how to move, not where to jump to. it makes sense if you think about that while you watch.
