I said it earlier this year as I got my copy through DreamSpark. ;) And have since said that I really love Windows 8.

I upgraded last night on my Macbook Pro retina and got my trackpad fully functional after about half an hour of Googling for weird fixes to access the Bootcamp control panel and reinstalling the trackpad drivers in device manager.

Maybe I was wrong. But the whole system is complicated, unintuitive. Replace launchpad on ML with the live tile and you have a winner.

I use windows for one reason and that is autodesk refuses to bring inventor, revit, 3ds max and a few others to osx.

I like the idea of cutting away at all the round edges giving it a modern look but the looking down of what was once a VERY open platform kinda annoys me. No doubt this isnt a big deal but it does hurt.

I am no fanboy but I just prefer windows 7 atm
